AUMUND India is supplying two Deep-Drawn Pan Conveyors type KZB-Q (with baffles) for the iron pellets handling at Jindal Steel Odisha Limited (JSOL) steel plant at Angul, Odisha, India. JSOL is the recently incorporated subsidiary of Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL), the flagship company of JSPL Group, located at Hissar, state Haryana. JSPL is one of the leading mining and steel producing groups of the mineral rich state Odisha.

The iron ore pelletizing plant, which is setting up at Angul, has a capacity of  2 x 6 million t/a. The AUMUND Deep-Drawn Pan Conveyors with a capacity of 1,350 t/h start with handling iron pellets discharged from the Annular Cooler through the vibrating feeders. These hot iron pellets with a material temperature of 200 degrees C will be fed to the pan conveyors and it will be discharged to the grizzly feeder at product screen house. The vertical lift of the pan conveyors is 25.5 m, the centre to centre distance is almost 65 m.

Furthermore, the scope of supply includes complete drive unit, special design feed chutes, special design discharge chutes, safety instruments and flexible connections at inlet and outlet.
