A container for SV Concordia Rheinberg
For Club President Dieter Wieckhorst there was only one thing missing for his passionate footballers at SV Concordia to be completely happy, “We were urgently in need of a dry place to keep the equipment needed for matches and training. There is no suitable space close to the sportsground.”
The solution came thanks to free delivery by AUMUND Fördertechnik and AUMUND Logistic of a handpicked 20’ container, which of course is 6 m long, and in shipping speak is called 1 TEU (one Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit). The container painted in the fresh AUMUND blue shows that the wish for dry game gear has now come true.
Children of AUMUND employees play at the club, and the relationship between the local sports club and the company is long-standing. Regional commitment to young people is a matter close to the heart at AUMUND. At Concordia Rheinberg e.V. sports club the container offers a dry home to the football gear and is also a visible sign of a strong partnership. Dieter Wieckhorst says, “We are happy that with financial and organisational support we have found a weatherproof solution.”
At the handover, one of the AUMUND donors, Reiner Furthmann, Managing Director Technology, AUMUND Fördertechnik, received a nice surprise. Club President Dieter Wieckhorst presented him with two running shirts bearing the AUMUND logo.
