The AUMUND Group is an international leader in the conveying and storage of bulk materials. AUMUND Fördertechnik, SCHADE Lagertechnik and SAMSON Materials Handling set technological standards with their products in key industries such as cement, mining and minerals, metallurgy, chemicals, fertiliser, alternative fuels, and ports and terminals.

Research and development in the AUMUND Group takes place in Rheinberg, Gelsenkirchen and Essen in Germany, and Ely in the UK, and ensures that every year existing products are further improved and new ones are developed. In addition to this, more than 100 different bulk materials are subjected to multiple tests in the material laboratory. These tests have been providing valuable insights into the conveying and storage properties of materials for more than 40 years, benefitting our own equipment technology, and also helping customers when they introduce new materials.

The power of innovation is underlined by more than 200 patents. They protect many products in the portfolio of Belt and Chain Bucket Elevators, Pan Conveyors, Discharge and Storage Systems, Stackers, Reclaimers, Wagon Unloading Systems, Mobile and Stationary Shiploaders and Eco Hoppers.

More than 20 companies and representative offices, five service centres and approximately 500 employees in Europe, Asia, and North and South America embody the global mindset of the business operation. Its priorities are continuous research and development in cooperation with universities in Berlin, Koblenz and Freiberg, as well as institutes and laboratories, the high quality of the machines, training and qualification of employees, and the aspiration to always be a reliable partner to our customers.
