AUMUND Brazil delivers SCHADE Stacker for Iron Ore Mine

Brazil / Germany, 16. November 2021

AUMUND Brazil

One of the largest mining concerns in the world has ordered a SCHADE Stacker to operate in a mine in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. AUMUND Ltda (São Paulo) and SCHADE Lagertechnik GmbH (Germany) cooperated closely to realize this project successfully.

Raw material from the mine is processed in the iron ore production plant to the south-east of Belo Horizonte. The SCHADE Stacker is designed to handle iron ore at a nominal capacity of 1,800 tph, and will be supplied mid-2022.

The project is another example of AUMUND Group companies from different countries and continents teaming up and succeeding. The seamless integration of the teams from SCHADE Lagertechnik and AUMUND Brazil across international borders was a decisive factor in winning the order. SCHADE was responsible for the engineering calculations and the basic structural design of the Stacker. Detail drawings and procurement of components and electrical technology were all carried out by the local team from AUMUND Brazil in São Paulo, with the SCHADE experts from Germany always available to support.
