PREMAS® 4.0 Predictive Maintenance Solution for Conveying Technology.
AUMUND Group expands its service portfolio.
From October 2020 AUMUND expands its range of services with the Predictive Maintenance Solution, PREMAS® 4.0, in order to support its customers even better in the field of predictive maintenance.
Reactive or insufficient maintenance often leads to unplanned stops, high costsand reduced production. This can be avoided – with a predictive maintenance strategy. Customers should be able to rely on uninterrupted operation and maximum production thanks to a comprehensive AUMUND service offering that extends the proven physical inspections with permanent online monitoring of critical machine components.

The PREMAS® inspections are already a proven, established instrument of the AUMUND Group for the early detection of failures in machines and thus preventpotential damage. Experienced AUMUND inspectors with many years of experience inspect the machines of customers and provide them with competent advice on topics such as preventive maintenance, spare parts and optimization possibilities for the plant. In combination with thenew Predictive Maintenance SolutionPREMAS® 4.0, AUMUND assistsits customers in achieving a reliable, uninterrupted operation.
PREMAS® 4.0 enables the early detection of wear and aging of important machine components of conveyor systems. The latest sensor technologies are combined with real-time data acquisition and analysis to enable permanent online condition monitoring of the machine on any mobile device. In addition to the condition of the machine, PREMAS® 4.0 also provides an estimation of the remaining service life ofcritical machine components.

How PREMAS® 4.0 reveals machine insights to your fingertips
The Predictive Maintenance Solution is specially made for conveying equipment in the heavy industry. Every machine receives a hardware package. Provided field sensors as well as some existing signals from the plant control system (motor current, level switch, speed switch, drift warning) will be connected to the IoT Box, which sends the collected data through mobile connectivity to the PREMAS® Cloud. There, the data will be analyzed based on the latest technologies for predictive analytics (e.g. algorithms,machine learning …).
The PREMAS® Portal visualizes and provides all relevant data for a complete online condition monitoring, securely online accessible to authorized users 24/7 through any mobile or desktop device.

Optimized equipment availability and stoppages:
- Reduced number of inspections and associated plant stops. The reliability of machines can be ensured at a high production level.

- No belt/chain failure causing a production stop or expensive emergency repairs.
Reduced maintenance costs(OPEX):
- Fewer routine inspections of bucket elevators are required. Reduced express orders and costs thanks to proactive planning of maintenance intervals, spare parts and physical inspections.
Optimized planning for spare parts and reduced inventory costs:
- No need to store belts or chains in the local warehouse. Just-in-time delivery of spare parts possible, depending on the AUMUND service agreement (e.g. full service package).
