SAMSON Celebrates Launch of New BF0415T Stormajor® Boom Feeder at Live Demonstration Event

SAMSON Materials Handling is pleased to announce the official launch of its new BF0415T Stormajor® Boom Feeder. This latest addition to SAMSON’s tracked mobile portfolio is purpose-built for flexibility in bulk material handling, particularly in port and terminal environments where fast setup and operational versatility are key.

The launch event took place at one of SAMSON’s fabrication and assembly sites in Asia on 8th July, and marked the final product milestone before commissioning and delivery. Representatives from SAMSON, AUMUND Hong Kong, AUMUND Beijing and regional agents were in attendance for a technical overview and live demonstration of the unit.

The BF0415T features outloading boom luffing, slewing and folding for transportation, and tracked mobility – enabling it to operate across a wide range of site conditions. These capabilities support various feeding methods, including trucks, front-end loaders, and conveyors, with onward discharge to stockpiles, barges, trucks, rail wagons or fixed plant. Boom Feeders can also be used as an auxiliary feeder for other equipment, including SAMSON range of mobile Cambered Boom and Telescopic Shiploaders.

During the event, the unit was shown in operation, demonstrating its core movements and control features. The session also included a technical briefing from Dan Birkett of SAMSON, outlining the product’s design intent and performance benefits for the bulk materials sector.

The BF0415T builds on SAMSON’s long-standing expertise in mobile materials handling, delivering a robust, modular solution for operators requiring fast relocation, reduced civil infrastructure, and equipment that can be adapted to evolving site demands.
